Let’s get to know winter

As you know, all people like winter especially children because they play with snow with their friends and they make a snowman or they play snowball fight. On the other hand, their mothers are afraid because they think that if their children play outside so much they can be ill.

All right, all of us like winter but do you know what things happen in the winter month? First of all, some animal sleep in the winter. Animals that sleep in the winter wake up according to their species for example; frogs wait spring months or lizard wait May or June in order to wake up.

Then, all trees become dry and their leaves fall down. Everywhere is white in this month and this is so relaxing. Daytime is shorter and night is longer. Vegetable and fruit that we eat changed. Our clothes become thicker because we pay attention to our health. What are the winter months?

These are December, January, and February. And finally, almost all day there is snow in the weather.
