What is earth day? Before giving information about this subject, I can say that it is so important not only for children but also for all people. Because to like earth and protect it is so significant and we must give this awareness to our children. The earth day is celebrated on 22 of April. This idea belongs to John Mc Connell. His aim was celebrating of beauty and life of our earth and to remark about environmental hazards that our earth faces. What can we do? For example; at first we can talk about this subject with our children after that we can plant a tree in our Street or our garden or we should not turn off the lights. It is so easy, or even only for a day, we can walk or ride a bike instead of using buses. To protect our world is so easy as you see. After making something for our world then your children can color the earth day mandala.
