The Special Butterfly

Butty was a colorful butterfly in the butterfly world. She was an ordinary butterfly when she was a baby but she felt herself different every time. For example; while her friends were playing flying games, she was collecting heart-shaped flowers. When they were in the art lesson, while her friends were drawing various pictures, she was drawing only heart-shaped pictures. Her teacher taught that it was normal behavior, but it was not. She understood when Butty had a heart attack.

She fell down and the others took her to the doctor. The doctor said: “ Butty is a special butterfly. She has dextrocardia. Dextrocardia is a rare heart condition in which your heart points toward the right side of your chest instead of the left side. Dextrocardia is congenital, which means people are born with this abnormality. Less than 1 percent of the general population is born with dextrocardia. So, she should be more careful. I think she should continue to draw heart pictures”
