The autumn which was forgotten
Lucky was a pretty bear. It was a bear that not want to spend time with the other bears. It went hunting itself, go for a walk itself and hibernates itself, too. Animal start to hibernation preparation when it was autumn. It was autumn and all bears start their hibernation preparation.
Hibernation is when animals “sleep” through the winter. During this sleep, the animals will not wake up when they hear a loud noise or even if they are moved or touched. While in torpor, the animal can wake up quickly and easily. During true hibernation, the animal’s body temperature drops to match the outside temperature, and their heart rate and rate of breathing slow down.
During the bear’s dormant state or torpor, their heart rate is extremely low but their body temperature is relatively high, and they won’t eat or release bodily waste. Animals hibernate as a way to adapt to their surroundings. They have to be able to survive the cold weather. They hibernate to escape the cold and because the food is scarce.
But Lucky forgot the hibernation time and started his preparations when it was summer. Because it was living lonely. It hibernated when it was autumn. It passed all autumn with its sleep. After the autumn it waked up and saw the snow everywhere and understood its mistake. It promised itself to live with the other bears hereupon. Because it was too hard living lonely.
